About The Fannin County Courthouse Project

We were lucky to partner with Turner Construction and the restoration committee on the historic Fannin County Courthouse restoration in Bonham, TX. This very special project had several unique stonework requirements, and our work spanned a two-year period during the restoration.

One of the most critical challenges was replicating the original stone capitals at the top of the entry columns that had been removed during the 1970’s renovation. With little to go by, the key became a black and white photo of the courthouse in the early 20th century paired with high tec design creation and stone cutting tools.
