Restored & Renovated

From a single piece to a whole building, restoration and renovation of stone pieces can be difficult. Matching stone color and texture is only the first part of the challenge, getting the correct size, shape, and fit requires a unique experience.

We have the capability to create replacements - from worn and damaged pieces to working with little more than fragments and in some cases just a picture.

Architectural Renovation

Architectural Renovation

Many projects start where another left off. Sometimes this is recreating a damaged or worn piece, other times it is resizing or scaling an existing item. Even if you are looking to take a napkin sketch and bring it to life in stone, we can help.

When you are looking for assistance in developing an accurate 3-D model, we are able to take your 3-D file or scan a profile to develop new pieces. At times we have even taken sketches and crafted 3-D profiles to carve.

Our range of ability enables us to partner with architects and designers to bring unique and custom pieces to their clients’ restoration and renovation projects. We have partnered with a wide range of architects and designers across commercial, residential and landscape sectors.

Let us help you create just the piece you need.

Historical Restoration Stone Work

Historical Restoration

Unlike new construction, historical restoration requires a unique set of capabilities. Often you are working to match materials that are decades or centuries old and the challenge of preserving the original is often a key goal of the project.

Beyond the material challenges, sometimes you don’t even have salvaged pieces to replicate. In the case of the Fannin County Courthouse project, we were literally working from a picture from the 1800s since the key ”leaf” pieces had been removed over time.

Our capabilities include sourcing best match stone, designing, and prototyping pieces, special handling of fragile pieces and even creating “dust” for patch kits to be used by onsite masons.
