Made to Order

Call it Art & Science or Head & Heart, both reflect our approach to stone fabricating. Beyond our ability to cut stone, the real difference is in our ability to know stone...how it will cut, how it will wear over time, what each treatment will do to enhance and change the look.

Many fabricators rely on a select assortment of stone types and sizes, but we have chosen to seek the projects that make every job unique and every challenge exciting.

Sometimes getting pre-made is a good option, but when you are trying to get it just right or need it prepped and ready to install, our made to order capabilities are second to none.

Stone Fabrication Services

Stone Fabrication

We put a premium on quality and precision to ensure that each item is cut, washed, and packed so that it is prepped and ready to install saving time and money on the job site. This extra attention to detail pays off in efficiency of installation, reduction of waste material, and time saved on costly repairs.

By specifying everything from dimensions to accommodate mortar joints to finishes that reduce chipping at install and washes that weather well for the long term, we partner with you to ensure every detail is considered in the specifications to make your project successful.

All cut material is pre-washed before packaging for better bonding to mortar or thinset - this provides you with high-quality, cost-effective installation. Eliminating chips and breaks are just the start of our White Glove approach to packaging. We also label to your specifications for ease of identification.

Advanced Technology Profiling

Our CNC capabilities allow us to create single objects or thousands of feet of highly detailed profiles and cuts.

The scope and scale of possibilities increased dramatically when we recently introduced one of the largest stone CNC machines in the country. With both stand-alone and lathe format precision profiling we are able to shape single pieces in excess of 20 tons. This includes columns, sculptures, fountains, and architectural pieces to name a few.

With multiple machines it allows us to create workflows to optimize the amount of time it takes for each job getting materials out more quickly and with the highest quality finishes.

A quick look at our offering will show just how broad and deep our capabilities reach.

Stone Surface Finishes

Surface Finishes

By selecting a custom finish, you take the ordinary and make it unique to enhance the beauty of your selection.

Surface finishes are important from both a functional standpoint, like when a course texture is used to create traction on pavers and an aesthetic perspective like choosing a Roughback or Splitface finish to coordinate with a rustic style.

We strive to make each custom cut stonework for both function and style for our customers. Here are the most common finishes we provide:

  • Polished

  • Honed

  • Leathered

  • Sandblasted

  • Chiseled

  • Roughback

  • Splitface

  • Tumbled

  • Sawn

  • Bush Hammered

Edge and Side Treatments

Much like the finish applied to the surface, the selection for the edges and sides of a piece serve both style and function.

While many are about the aesthetic, we have learned over time that choosing some treatments preserve the beauty of a piece for a much longer time.

A great example of this is a rolled corner on pool coping. By slightly rolling or easing the corner of a pool coping piece, this will prevent chipping and make slipping into the pool comfortable and scratch free.

Some of our most popular finishes include:

  • Rolled

  • Chiseled

  • Polished

  • Bullnosed

  • Mitered

  • Profiled cut

Hand Carved

We pride ourselves on the technology we use in our fabricating process, but it takes people passionate about stone to achieve the custom outcomes we desire.

Our team includes individuals that have skills in hand carving and finishing ranging from apprenticeship to years of experience.

Our founder has always believed that if you learn how to do it the old way, you will be much more capable with the technology of the new way.
